Third time lucky for Candlelighters

Pudsey based chartered accountants Broadhead Peel Rhodes has decided against Christmas cards for the third year running and instead decided that the appropriately named Candlelighters should benefit. The Firm has donated 500 to the Childhood Cancer Foundation, whose charitys mission is to provide support, education and advocacy for children and adolescents with cancer, survivors of childhood/adolescent cancer, their families and the professionals who care for them.

Broadhead Peel Rhodes managing partner, Robert Brook said:

"We have choosen Candlelighters as our charity this year as we continue to be impressed with the work they do in the local community. We are sure our clients would give their whole-hearted approval to supporting this charity rather than receiving Christmas cards."

The donation will be going directly to the Leeds centre based at St James Hospital.
